Yesterday, as I was posting topics on my forums, I heard the breaking news across the airwaves: Charlie Kirk had been shot. Before yesterday, I didn’t even know who Charlie Kirk was. I had never heard about him. However, from what I did hear, it wasn’t too good. Charlie Kirk was a right-wing conservative, with despicable views about blacks and other minorities. Many black Americans had nothing good to say about him. However, when I saw footage of the Charlie Kirk shooting, I was very disturbed. I can’t say that I agree with his views. In fact, his views are the exact opposite of how I feel. However, I don’t want to see anybody die like that. I wouldn’t wish that type of death on my worst enemy. It just goes to show you, how this nation is imploding during the Trump Administration. I have never seen so much violence in any of the presidential terms since I have been alive. Trump is having a really negative effect on this country. There’s more racism than it has ever been, since the 1940’s 50’s and 60’s. Joblessness is soaring totally out of control. The black unemployment rate is at %7.2 percent. The tariffs are making it hard for other countries to trade with the United States. To think, that I was going to vote for Trump. Now, I am glad that I didn’t. We still have 3 more years to go. I am wondering if this country can last through President Trump’s second term. As aforementioned earlier, the United States is totally imploding. I know one thing, we are in for a tough 4 years. I do understand that Trump is trying to bring profit to the United States. It’s just so many things are going wrong. A lot of people say a whole lot of things about Former President Barack Obama. But to me; however, he was one of the best presidents in the history of this country. Mass shooting are happening everywhere too. There’s almost not a day that has gone by, where there hasn’t been a mass shooting. I really do hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel, in regards to this current administration. I will just have to grit my teeth, and bear it. That is all.
